AdminHistoryThe shared governance of the Cadbury Trusts led to meetings of the trusts and Fund frequently being held on the same day or over the same weekend. Meetings of the trusts and Fund were originally recorded in separate volumes or separate pages. From 1969 Anthony Wilson began to keep a combined sequence of Barrow and Geraldine S. Cadbury Trust and Fund minutes including some minutes from the Paul S. Cadbury Trust and the Southfield Trust. During the mid-1980s relevant Fund minutes began to appear interspersed in the Barrow and Geraldine S. Cadbury Trust and Paul S. Cadbury Trust minute sequences. This pattern of recording trusts and Fund business in an integrated sequence was retained by the Barrow Cadbury Trust following the merger of the Barrow and Geraldine S. Cadbury Trust and the Paul S. Cadbury Trust in 1994. Though unique minute numbers were used for each organisation the fact that they appear together prohibits their inclusion in either of the trusts or Fund organisational specific minute sequences.

Similarly, meetings of the General Purpose Committee, Staffing Trustees, Asset Policy Group and annual strategic review are not organisation specific and apply to the Cadbury Trusts as a whole. It should be noted however that from 2000 forward the use of the Fund as a channel for charitable giving has narrowed and the majority of grant making is carried out by the Barrow Cadbury Trust.
