AdminHistoryThe Anti-Litter Sub-Committee was appointed in April, 1964, and consisted of representatives from many Corporation departments, including the Watch Committee, Health Committee, Public Works Committee, Salvage Committee and Transport Committee. The function of this sub-committee was to discuss the levels of litter, diesel fumes and other pollution within the city and to suggest ways of preventative action. The function of this Sub-Committee was passed to the Public Safety Committee after April 1965 (BCC/1/DF).
