AccessConditionsThe records of the Hollymoor Sub-Committee are bound in separate sub-committee minute volumes, and relate only to building works. They do not contain sensitive personal data about hospital patients and members of staff. The records have therefore been given a blanket closure period of 50 years.
AdminHistoryThis sub-committee was appointed in January 1901, and consisted of seven members. Its purpose was to monitor the building of Hollymoor Asylum, as well as consider the administration, operation and procedural running of the Hollymoor Asylum, reporting back to the main committee. A sub-sub-committee was also appointed in February 1888 to consider new accommodation at the Rubery Hill and Hollymoor Asylums (see BCC/1/AF/5/1/1).
