| AdminHistory | The Negotiations Sub-Committee was appointed in January 1929 to undertake negotiations for the acquisition of land or property in which the interests of more than one committee were involved. The sub-committee was renamed the Properties Sub-Committee in March 1946. The sub-committee ceased in 1949, with its functions most likely going to the Civic Buildings, later the Civic Development Sub-Committee (see BCC 1/AG/28). Following the disestablishment of that Sub-Committee in 1966, the existing Properties Sub-Committee was reconstituted as the Property and Estates Sub-Committee in 1972. |
