The minutes include draft written statement of the plan (see meeting of 17 September 1973, minute 51), the reports of the Town Clerk to the sub-committee with regard to the West Midlands Regional Study with regard to the sub-committee's remit as it related to expanding outer commuter towns such as Tamworth and Daventry, the reports of the Director of Housing and the City Engineer, and copies of the Development Plan Manuals printed by Her Majesty's Stationery Office, 1971. There is also a copy of a news sheet printed by the Council entitled 'Birmingham's Tomorrow' (May 1973) which includes details on public reactions to the redevelopment of the city, a summary of the aims and objectives of the Structure Plan and schedules of public and Council meetings relating to the scheme. |
