| Description | The minutes are handwritten and printed and signed by the committee chairman. Minutes BCC/1/AG/9/1/1 are in the volume entitled 'Brinsley Bequest Sub-Committee', and include minutes of both the Brinsley Bequest Sub-Committee and the new Charities Sub-Committee. Minutes BCC/1/AG/9/1/2 onwards are in the appropriately dated combined sub-committee minute volumes (see BCC/1/AG/37/1). There is also some duplication of minute numbers in the 50 - 60 range. The minutes include mainly financial information, such as summaries of income and expenditure (including legacies) of charitable institutions applying for participation in bequests and the actual distribution of the bequest for various charities. |
