| Description | The minutes are handwritten and printed and signed by the committee chairman. There appear to be no minutes for this sub-committee prior to October 1907 or January 1918 and December 1928 (see BCC/1/AH/7/1/1).Minutes BCC/1/AH/7/1/2 - 4 are in the volumes entitled 'Accounts Sub-Committee'. Minutes BCC/1/AH/7/1/5 onwards are in the appropriately titled combined sub-committee minute books (see BCC/1/AH/18/1). The minutes detail the certification of the Schedules of Accounts (in summary form) of various Council committees and departments, and largely supplement the information contained in the main Finance Committee minutes (see BCC/1/AH/1). The minutes also include the fortnightly reports of the sub-committee on accounts, annuities and stationery paid or recommended for payment. |
