The minutes prior to November 1919 are currently missing (see BCC/1/AM/9/1/1). Minutes BCC/1/AM/9/1/2 are in a uniformly titled minute volume. Minutes BCC/1/AM/9/1/3 - 28 are in the appropriately dated combined sub-committee minute volumes (see BCC/1/AM/26/1). The minutes include more detailed information relating to staffing (including absences from work, pay and pensions and accidents to workmen) and detailed tables of departmental income and expenditure, including repairs and maintenance funds, purchase of stores, stationery and other equipment. There is also additional information relating to the running of departmental depots, some of which were located on the new municipal estates such as Weoley Castle and Kingstanding. |
