| AdminHistory | The Industrial Drainage Sub-Committee consisted of seven members, and was appointed in March 1956 to examine and report upon the question of whether or not to make a charge for the discharge of trade effluent into public sewers. After this was accepted, the sub-committee also organised trade effluent control, and regulated the Public Health Acts 1937 and 1961 regarding sewers and drainage. |
