| AdminHistory | The Buildings Sub-Committee was appointed in April 1884, and comprised of three members of the Museum and School of Art Committee. The function of this sub-committee, often liaising with the Estates Committee (see BCC/1/AM), was to look at the structure and arrangement of the museum building. In October 1885, just prior to the opening of the new art gallery, all of the work of this sub-committee was effectively transferred to the Management Sub-Committee (see BCC/1/BA/3). |
