| AdminHistory | The Emergency Sub-Committee was appointed in July 1902 to consider the appointment of a new Assistant Master of the Technical School, with the promotion of one of the existing Assistant Masters to Second Master. The sub-committee met in November 1902 as the Sub-Committee of the Education Sub-Committee, although the minute sequence and membership continued as before, this time to consider applications by members of the staff at the school for salary increases, as well as the appointment of a new chemistry teacher by February 1903. With the appointment of the new Education Committee in April 1903 (see BCC 1/BH) the functions of this sub-committee passed to the Technical Schools and Evening Classes (later Further Education) Sub-Committee, along with those of the existing Technical Schools Committee. |
