| Description | Minute volumes indexed, apart from volume BCC/1/BH/14/4/1/9 which has its own separate index volume (see BCC/1/BH/14/4/2/1) and BCC/1/BH/14/4/1/11 which has no index. There are no minutes for the period April 1958 - December 1960 (see BCC/1/BH/14/4/1/10). The minutes were compiled in typescript format and signed by the committee Chairman. They include reports of the various committee sport leagues such as the Football League, Cricket League, Netball League; reports of the Local Youth Advisory Committees from 1943 (see BCC/BH/14/4); activities of various youth organisations; and the submission of applications to the Education Committee for grant aid by voluntary youth organisations. The last two volumes in this sub series comprise sets of minutes for two sectional committees, namely the Finance Committee of Birmingham Juvenile Organisations (see BCC/1/BH/14/4/1/12) and the Football Section of the Birmingham Juvenile Organisations Committees (see BCC/1/BH/14/4/1/13). |
