| Description | Although it would appear that the sub-committee reported first to the Youth Sub-Committee (see BCC/1/BH/20/1) it has been catalogued with the Adult Education and Youth Sub-Committee records as the original file could not be physically split in two, whilst it is certain at least that the committee reported to the successor body.The minutes appear in typescript format on loose sheets stored in a brown card file entitled 'Youth Concerts Sub-Committee. Minutes Awaiting Chairman's Signature', although the pages have been initialled in blue ink. The minutes include estimates of festival costs; account statements detailing income and expenditure; reports of the Youth Concerts Sub-Committee; draft programmes of events for the annual concerts; and related correspondence, including the comments and suggestions of parents and teachers. |
