| AdminHistory | It is unclear when the Youth Concerts Sub-Committee was appointed, although it would appear to predate the formation of the Adult Education and Youth Sub-Committee (see BCC/1/BH/21/1) and probably reported to the earlier Youth Sub-Committee first (see BCC/1/BH/20/1). The sub-committee met once a year to consider all matters relating to the organisation, finances, ticket sales, stewarding and programme of events for the annual Youth Concerts organised in conjunction with Birmingham's schools, youth choirs and orchestras and other groups. The concerts were traditionally held during November and December each year, taking place one night per week over a four week period. The |
