The Shustoke Industrial School Sub-Committee minute books include reports of HM Inspectors of Reformatory and Industrial Schools with details of the numbers in the school, subjects taught and standard attained, health and discipline of inmates. Also included with the minutes are the reports of the Superintendent of the school with details of individual inmates giving their names, ages, if secured into employment or transferred elsewhere (into the care of the Board of Guardians for example), progress of the school farm, health of inmates; and details of general maintenance and supplies for school. |
