| Description | The minutes are handwritten and printed and signed by the committee Chairman. There are no minutes prior to 1921 at the Birmingham City Archives (see BCC/1/BJ/3/1/1). Minutes BCC/1/BJ/S/2/2 are in their own sub-committee minute volume. Minutes BCC/1/BJ/3/1/3 are in the main committee minute volume BCC/1/BJ/1/1/2. There are currently no minutes prior to 1921 held by the Birmingham City Archive, those held for between 1929 - 1930 give names and destinations of those seeking emigration or removal. The minutes include detailed information on individuals requesting assistance to emigrate to Canada, Austrialia and New Zealand, and summaries of decisions made with regard to those applications. |
