| AdminHistory | The Sites and Buildings Sub-Committee was appointed in November 1945. It took over many of the functions of the former Administration Sub-Committee (see BCC/1/BO/4), such as advising on the acquisition of park sites, town planning and lay-out schemes, leases and agreements, property and site maintenance and development. In June 1967, the sub-committee was merged with the Cemeteries and Crematoria Sub-Committee (see BCC/1/BO/5) and the General Purposes and Finance Sub-Committee (see BCC/1/BO/10) to form the Standing Sub-Committee (see BCC/1/BO/18). |
