| AdminHistory | This sub-committee was appointed in October 1941 and consisted of four or five members of the main committees. Its original function was to deal with fire precautions at Elford House, the dispersal of art collections in country houses, and a couple of specific staffing issues, but did in fact cover most general business throughout the duration of the Second World War. The general function of this sub-committee was merged with the Finance Sub-Committee in November 1944 (see BCC/1/BQ/6). |
