| Description | The following special sub-committees were formed for specific reasons, sometimes sitting for just one session, for the purpose of undertaking the project stated in the sub-committee title. The description here lists all relevant minute volumes, dates and minute numbers together. This has been done to avoid making the hierarchical structure of the catalogue too complicated. The special sub-committees that reported to the Agricultural and Smallholdings Committee are listed below, and includes the Executive Sub-Committee of the City of Birmingham War Agricultural Committee, empowered to act on behalf of the Agricultural and Smallholdings Committee with regard to all matters not involving extraordinary expenditure for which a special had not been obtained from the Board of Agriculture.
