Although the minute books in this series date from 1908, the position of this series in the catalogue reflects the fact that the Pensions Committee was incorrectly split in two, with the Old Age Pensions Committee 1908 - 1931 being attributed the reference code BCC/1/BK, comprising one series, with the Local Pensions Committee 1932 - 1948 (BCC/1/CE) comprising the other.
