Folder containing a list of domestic surface shelters in Birmingham. Arranged alphabetically by street, the list gives details on the address, type of shelter, accommodation numbers, Public Works district and general remarks, 1950 – 1969. Also contains loose miscellaneous memos and lists of shelters in the E zones (for purposes of civil defence, Birmingham was split into three zones; E1, E2 and E3. Each zone had sections, each with several sector posts and subsections).
