| AdminHistory | The Revision and Maintenance Sub-Committee was formed in October 1948. Its main function was to consult with other Local Authorities and recover from them any costs involved for placing children from those Authorities into care within the Birmingham jurisdiction. As well as the main sub-committee, four Rota Sub-Sub Committees were appointed in February and March 1949 to deal with such business on a rota basis. Therefore, there is a minute sequence for the main sub-committee, and one sequence for each of the rotas. The function of this sub-committee became a part of the Child Care Sub-Committee in May 1952 (see BCC 1/CT/8). |
