| AdminHistory | The Sites and Buildings Sub-Committee was formed in March 1949. Its functions were to consult with other sub-committees on any proposals regarding the acquisition of new sites and buildings, or the improvement, alteration, adaptation, repair and general maintenance of existing buildings for the Children’s Department. This sub-committee was also to prioritise such work and present a schedule to the main committee, and once agreed, to arrange the contracts and oversee the work in question. This sub-committee was disbanded in May 1952, its function presumably returning to the main Children's Committee. |
