AccessConditionsThe records of the Revision and Maintenance Sub-Committee are extremely sensitive, and often name individual adult cases and people in care. The records have therefore been closed for 100 years in compliance with the Data Protection Act, 1998.
AdminHistoryThe Revision and Maintenance Sub-Committee was formed in July 1948. Its main function was to recover any costs incurred by placing them in Council care, and to review any existing cases. The function of this sub-committee was transferred in May 1950 to the newly formed Temporary Accommodation and Voluntary Homes Sub-Committee (see BCC/1/CU/9).
