Its function was to carry out the Housing Management Committee remit, taking over the former Central Areas Management Committee (see BCC 1/CQ), which was centred on the redevelopment of central Birmingham. The sub-committee liaised with the new Estates Committee (see BCC 1/AM) and the House Building Committee (see BCC 1/CX). |
