| AdminHistory | The purpose of Ward Boundaries Sub-Committee, which was appointed in November 1908, was to advise the main Boundaries Committee on the boundaries of the wards, and also the parishes within the proposed extension areas. It appears to have been re-appointed in June 1917, its remit encompassing the re-evaluation of the ward boundaries in the light of the Electoral Reform Bill, which was finally passed in 1918, allowing all males over the age of 21 and females over 30 the vote. This sub-committee was to return as a sub-committee of the General Purpose Committee in 1932 (see BCC/1/AG/22). |
