| AdminHistory | The main function of the General Purposes and Finance Sub-Committee was, like all such generic sub-committees, to advise the main committee on all financial matters and any other matters that the Council saw fit to place before them, such as aerodrome sites for example. When the Council was reconstituted as the Warwickshire, Worcestershire and South Staffordshire Advisory Planning Council in 1946, the sub-committee continued in operation after that date, although Birmingham Archives do not currently the minutes for the sub-committee after that year. |
