There are also reports dated May 1901 and June 1901 on visits by delegations of Corporation officials to similar housing developments in other British cities, most notably London and Manchester, including proposals to use the designated land for flat building (see minutes 14 and 38 - 39, April 1901 - June 1901 below). |
