Its original function was to deal with patient issues, such as visitors, walks, victuals, facilities and entertainments. It also dealt with certain staffing issues, such as appointments of staff relevant to patient welfare. The sub-committee took over the site functions of the Buildings and Estates Sub-Committee in September 1910 (see BCC 1/EY/3). |
