| Description | Digital photographs of volunteers recruited to assist the Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham, with associated training and induction material (MS PowerPoint slides). The photographs are from a variety of sources, and includes images taken by the volunteers or other Council staff. The majority show the volunteers engaging with visitors and people attending Games events in the city of Birmingham. A few photographs of some of the recruitment and training of volunteers were taken by a professional photographer, full information on provenance and other technical information is provided in the image metadata, where known. Many are or appear to be original photos as taken, others comprise screenshots of images posted on social media (i.e. Instagram, Twitter).

The digital archive comprises two sub-folders: 'Photos Archive'; 'Training Archive'. Two CD playing copies of the digital photos and videos and paper copies of the MS PowerPoint training slides were also created after transfer. |
