| Description | Items in this series contain daily entries giving the whereabouts and activities of each child. These volumes were intended to be looked at by staff coming on duty at shift changes. Some entries are very short while others are relatively long and informative.
The volumes in this series have been labelled with numbers. This appears to have taken place after the volumes were removed from Athelstan and before they arrived in BA&H. They were numbered in sequence with the day books in BCC 10/BCH/12/6, but they appear to be a separate series of records; they overlap in time, but contain a slightly different type of information intended for a different purpose. |
