| Description | Following on from GP B/1/1/8, the Local Government Board issued a further set of orders regarding the governing of the Cottage Homes in 1885. Almost identical to the above volume, GP B/1/1/9 again contains sections on the government of the homes, the officers to be employed within them, and their duties, and printed examples of the forms to be used in the administration of the cottage homes. This volume is headed 'Accountant's Copy', and contains some hand-written additions to the orders, in response to further changes made by the Local Government Board. The volume is not indexed. |
