| Description | Rather than being under the authority of a separate, formal committee, the furnishing of the workhouse infirmary was discussed by a small group of Guardians, probably some of those that made up the Workhouse Management committee (see GP B/2/4/4). The proceedings of this group are recorded in this volume, and they include the buying of furniture, crockery, hardware and soft goods. However, the surviving minutes cover less than half the volume, so that the information contained is minimal. The volume is indexed. |
