| Description | The Service Girls Homes sub-committee was appointed in July 1912. Acting under the aegis of the Children's Homes committee (see GP B/2/6/6), the sub-committee was responsible for the administration of the home on Moseley Road, which acted as a training school for those girls under the care of the Union who would eventually be employed as servants. The sub-committee consisted of seven Guardians, and reported back regularly to the Children's Homes committee.
The volumes contain details on all aspects of the running of the home, including repairs to the building, the provision of supplies, and information on individual girls. The volumes are not indexed. |
