The Project aims to, 1) provide a safe and fun meeting space for young Chinese women, 2) provide a venue for sharing common experiences and to explore new issues, 3) empower, increase self-confidence and the positive image of young Chinese women, 4) challenge traditional stereotypes, and 5) identify pressures and difficulties facing young Chinese women in Britain. Nature of support: In 1995 Trustees offered a grant of £15,000 per annum for three years towards the salary and running costs of the Project.
