Applicant overview: The Black Country Women's Development Consortium (BCWDC) was formed 1997 from development organisations in Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton. In 2001 the BCWDC launched the BCWDP with the aim of, 1) continuing small grant funds in the four regions, 2) the employment of a part-time development worker to provide support to small grant fund applicants, and, 3) support to expand the work of the BCWDC in the region. Nature of support: In 2001 the Trust agreed to a grant of £65,000 per annum for three years commencing 2001/2002. This grant was divided between salary and running costs (£35,000) and grant giving panels in Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton (£5,000 each). Minutes: BCT 1082.
