Pensioners Link (formally 1964 Task Force Ltd.) became a registered charity in 1964 with the aims or educating young people about the need and manner of rendering service to the aged and disabled and to provide such services for the relief of poverty and the improvement of the conditions of life among the aged, infirm, disabled or poor. Multi-purpose unit offering Advice, General Guidance and Support (MAGGS) works for the lonely, friendless, single homeless and other disadvantaged or handicapped people. Middlemore Homes supported the creation of a family centre in Northfield to, in part, replace the residential centre at Stilthouse Grove. Nature of support: In 1985 the Fund approved a single grant of £500 towards a Pensioners Link affiliated campaign against national cuts affecting the elderly. That same year a single grant of £1,000 was made to MAGGS, Worcester. The Paul S. Cadbury Trust made a grant of £3,250 that year toward the family centre in Northfield.
