| Description | This volume is a register of the children nominated to attend the school, which records the child's name, the child's age, 'placed out' date, to whom [placed out], their business (e.g. 'liquor merchant') and general observations. The volume also records birth and baptism details for each child. The register covers the period Easter 1805 - 1819. After the register, the volume contains signatures of parents 'resigning' their children to the school, that is, giving the school control of their children. Along with the parents' signatures, the list also records the date and signatures, occupation of the parents and the area that the parents come from (e.g. 'Bromsgrove'). |
