| Description | This volume records the date (presumably when the child was admitted), the child's name, their date of birth, by whom they were nominated, 'when placed out' (when the child left the school), to whom they were placed out and trade and residence. There is also a remarks column.
The volume encloses two letters from 1845 and 1846 instructing the school to accept pupils at the charge of the St. David's society. The children names are Jane Parry, Edward Flower, Thomas Alfred Turner and Elizabeth Davis. Enclosed with the letters is a certificate to show that Elizabeth Davis is free from illness.
Note that no information was entered into the volume between 19 August 1853 and 25 January 1916. |
