| Description | This volume records the name of children along with a record of their height and weight taken every six months while the child was attending the school. The volume covers two distinct periods: the first part of the volume covers 17 November 1914 - 1924 and records heights and weights for all of the children attending the school. The second part of the volume covers the period 20 September 1956 - 30 April 1957 and only records heights and weights for a few children - there is no obvious reason why these few children have been chosen to have their heights and weights recorded.
The front of the volume encloses some material that appears to be unconnected with the content of the volume - there is a map of the school, which also has a seating plan - it is not clear as to the purpose of the seating plan. Also enclosed are a number of 'school rolls' recording the name of pupils, their 'house', their date of birth, date of admission and name of parent/guardian. The 'rolls' are seemingly recorded quarterly and this volume contains rolls for 1953 - 1955. |
