| Description | This item is a bundle of correspondence and papers seemingly related to an act of parliament 'for inclosing Birmingham Heath'. It appears that the management of the Blue Coat School wished to acquire a piece of land 'in the vicinity of the town, to air and purify the children, as well as grow every necessary and esculent vegetable for the use and diet of the family and likewise to instruct and accustom the boys to cultivate the same' (cf. 'Mr. Hunt's letter' enclosed with the 'copy of petition').
