| Description | This item is a ledger style volume that seems to record the rent received from different people. The volume is indexed at the front, alphabetically by person's name to page number. At the rear of the volume there are two lists: the first is 'tradesmen's bills unpaid at Christmas 1811', listing the tradesman's name, the item owed for (e.g. drapery, grocery, etc.) and the amount owed. The second list is of 'rents, dividends, interests, &c. due 31 Dec 1814' which records money received and what the money was received from. |
