| Description | The object of the Birmingham Productivity Association was 'to stimulate and improve industrial and commerical productivity within the City of Birmingham' (taken from the 1963 - 1964 annual report of the association). The association comprised a number of committees, including an Executive commitee, Organising commitee, Birmingham Productivity Service committee, Education committee, Organisation and Methods committee, a Junior section and a Factory Efficiency committee. The association organised conferences and training events regarding productivity in manufacturing industries. |
