| Description | These Ledgers, kept by James Pearson and his successors, cover the period from John Southern’s admission to the Boulton Watt & Co. partnership in October 1810 to the death of James Watt Jr. and the discontinuation of the name Boulton Watt & Co. in 1848. They mainly contain personal accounts of sales, but also accounts such as Profit & Loss, accounts with Soho Foundry, and so on.
