DescriptionDocketed “Of having written to Thomas Wilson & Co. of 18 horse engines being sent off. Letters from them to stop them. Had a call from Mr. Lang Jr. of Bremen. Have written Kerr & Black about 50 horse engine. Will make inspection of City of Edinburgh’s patterns of wheels. Norwich Water Works have remitted for 16 horse engine – are to alter situation. Mr. Mylne writes for new brass clack. West Middlesex have written. Old air pumps of James Watt have arrived and wait hearing if they can be cased with brass. Estimate of exhausting machine for Mr. Hodgson.”
