The Danube 40 horse engines to be sent off the end of this week. Progress of Herne Bay boiler No. 2 and engines. Ferret’s boiler ready to send off. Wants direction for blow-out valves and emptying pipes. Feed valve box for the Soho leaves this evening. Query about copper pipes for bilge water. Sends general plan of the Portugese Mint for Messrs. Willcox & Anderson. Will write to them tomorrow. Their acceptance of John Norton signified to him.”
