| Description | These are various documents relating to the action against Jabez Hornblower and Stephen Maberly in the Court of Common Pleas in December 1796 that were not included in the main bundle (MS 3147/2/42). The documents are mainly to do with the objections made against Watt’s patent and the answers made by Watt and John Southern to those objections, but there is also a copy of the original injunction against Hornblower, Maberly and William Peareth.
