| Description | Letters from John Rennie from 1798 and 1799. John Rennie worked as a millwright and engineer in London, and he acted as London agent for Boulton & Watt. He also travelled around the country – this bundle includes letters from Grimsby and Hull, and letters describing his trip to Cornwall and Devon, during which he examined Jonathan Hornblower’s engine at Tincroft.
The letters are addressed to James Watt, James Watt Jr., Matthew Robinson Boulton and Boulton & Watt.
