| Description | Letters from John Rennie from 1804. John Rennie worked as a millwright and engineer in London, and he acted as a London agent for Boulton Watt & Co. He also travelled around the country – this bundle includes letters from Newcastle upon Tyne, Anglesey (ordering engines for Ireland) and Devizes. The bundle also includes letters from Rennie’s assistant Meredith Jones.
