| Description | Letters from Thomas Wilson from 1804. Thomas Wilson was Boulton & Watt’s Cornish agent. He also had considerable other business interests in Cornwall.
These letters almost entirely concern mine shares and tin sales, as Boulton Watt & Co.’s engine interests in Cornwall had all but disappeared by this time. The letters in this bundle were addressed to Matthew Robinson Boulton and Boulton & Watt. There is also a letter from Wilson’s son William to the Head Clerk at Soho James Lodge. |
